Star Wars Episode VII

MakingStarWars.Net has been on a roll lately with Star Wars Episode VII rumors. It's anyone's guess if they're true or not, but some of them are quite intriguing. They posted a new batch of rumors from their source on Friday, which you can see here. These are some of the most interesting rumors they posted:

  • Where is Luke Skywalker? By far one of the biggest Episode VII rumors is that Luke Skywalker has been missing in action for some time. Some rumors have said he disappeared immediately after the Battle of Endor. According to MSW's source, it's more like 10 years.
  • Leia's Guards. Recent photos of X-wing pilots and soldiers are allegedly soldiers who will be guarding Princess Leia. In a production sketch the source claims to have seen, Leia stood in the middle of a group of Hutts, flanked by these soldiers. The source describes them as looking "like Naboo guards or pilots."
  • Adam Driver, Villain? We've heard before that the villain of Episode VII may be some sort of an aristocrat. The source alleges that Driver's character could be an aristocrat and a descendent of Count Dooku. The sources that details about the character may have changed—both Gwendoline Christie, who is in the film, and Benedict Cumberbatch have been attached to this rumor—but says "the idea of an aristocratic villain with a heritage going back to the Clone Wars has been there from pre-production and as far as I know it’s still a major part of the story."
  • Moraband. Another rumor we've heard many times is that Moraband, the ancient homeworld of the Sith (known as Korriban in the Expanded Universe, but officially named Moraband in Star Wars: The Clone Wars), will be in the film. This source alleges the same thing.
