Star Wars Episode VII has the seal of approval from Disney CEO Bob Iger. During an appearance on CNBC's "Closing Call" (quotes via Business Insider), Iger briefly spoke about Episode VII, how the production is currently ongoing, and how there was a brief hiatus due to Harrison Ford's injury. Iger also said that he has seen some of the footage from the film.
- "The footage we've seen is very, very exciting to us. I think there's about 500 days left between now and December 18th, 2015 when the movie comes out. That doesn't seem like very long."
Iger also talked about how he knows there's "a lot of pent up demand" for the film, and that Disney is "just as excited as the fans are about it."
Glad to hear it!
