Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Episode I: A Familiar Path is a fan film made by Kaydon Sentry using footage from the game of the same name. It is part one of a trilogy, and follows the story of Logan Starr. It was announced on January 20, 2005,[1] and finished in November 2006.

Four thousand years before the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Republic verges on collapse. DARTH MALAK, last surviving apprentice of the DARK LORD REVAN, has unleashed an invincible Sith armada upon an unsuspecting galaxy. Parts of the film were released in November 2006, on Kaydon Sentry's channel (Kevinsocal2k6), on YouTube. But some of the parts were deleted or muted, due to copyright infringement of the music. On March 18 2014, a user by the name of alexstarofstarwars uploaded the complete film on YouTube. This version includes full screen player.
