Moves Like Jabba (Maroon 5 PARODY!)

"Moves Like Jabba" music video

"Moves Like Jabba" is a song by BreakOriginals. It is a parody of "Moves Like Jagger" by the band Maroon 5. The song and an accompanying music video were released onto YouTube on October 12, 2011.

Song descriptionEdit

Jabba the hutt

"Moves Like Jabba" parodies Jabba the Hutt from Return of the Jedi.

The song is a tongue and cheek look at Jabba the Hutt, describing him in satirical but generally positives ways. "gangster," "baller," a roller, and someone who cannot be controlled by Jedi mind tricks. Despite poking fun at Jabba's large, grotesque figure, as seen in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, the singer describes wanting to be like Jabba the Hutt.[1]

Background informationEdit

"Moves Like Jabba" was a Break Originals production. It was written by Andy Signore, Micah Brenner, and Alex Sargeant. Signore also directed the music video.[1]

ReceptionEdit

Since its release on YouTube, the video has been viewed over 1.5 million times, as of October 2012. The video has received nearly 14,000 likes, with less than 1,000 dislikes.[1]Also the slave Leia actress, Ashley Pittman, has become an Internet fan boy sensation by the way she was shown in the video. In other words, she's been 'faped' to a significant amount of times.
